In the News . . . Its Cake Middleton! A young baker from the West Midlands of England commemorated the Duchess of Cambridge by turning her into a lifelike dessert. Lara Clarke, who has only been baking for two years, taught herself to bake cakes by watching YouTube and the American television shows Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes. She has created dozens of custom-made designs including the likenesses of Johnny Depp, Yoda, and Buzz Lightyear. Some of Clarke’s cakes have taken over 40 hours to create and feed up to 500 people. She created the edible white chocolate cake topper in anticipation of the arrival of the new royal baby boy, Prince George. (www.dailymail.co.uk)
